Mycroft Systems Ltd (MSL) was founded in 1982 as a programming and consulting business primarily concentrating on the mainframe IT industry across all business sectors throughout New Zealand and Australia.

By 1985 the business focus had changed to a sales orientated operation initially acquiring the exclusive distributorship for Paxus software. Over the subsequent years MSL developed an impressive portfolio of exclusive software distributorships and a substantial client base including many blue-chip companies both in New Zealand and Australia.

The current directors of MSL are Mr. Callum Mills and Mr. Colin Wright. Between them they have over 40 years experience in the IT industry both in New Zealand and overseas. Both directors have managed their own IT Consultancy and Digital Imaging business’s prior to combining their resources and talents to acquire Mycroft Systems in February 2002.

MSL’s head office is based in Auckland New Zealand with nine staff and a regional office in Melbourne, Australia. Additionally MSL has a substantial network of business partners actively marketing their range of products and services. MSL’s core business activities are the sale of software products and support contracts, systems integration, training and IT consultancy services. MSL’s product lines are sourced through their exclusive distributorships for a number of internationally respected software development companies.

The majority of MSL’s turnover is generated by selling services and software to blue-chip companies predominately based in Australia.
