BIM-FAQS/PCS (Production Control System) is an automated scheduling product for VSE data centers.  Scheduling may be done by job completion, operator commands, VM/CP commands, BIM-FAQS/PCS commands, or compiled REXX procedures, in conjunction with time of day, BIM-FAQS/PCS member creation or variable change, console message (with BIM-FAQS/ASO), authorized user posting, manual condition completion, data entry, resource availability percentage, or dataset activity.   Also provides automatic stop/start of DL/I databases and close/open of CICS VSAM files, and issuance of CEMT commands, tape pull list, with interfaces to BIM-EPIC/VSE and other tape management systems, workload forecast, and more.  Schedules may optionally be created using BIM-FAQS/PC.  Supports BIM-FAQS/CALL product which notifies personnel of detected problems by phone, pager, or other methods.
